Ostara is a modern Pagan festival that celebrates the coming of spring and the renewal of lifeA celebration of duality and abundance. Named after the goddess Eostre, Ostara represents fertility, abundance, and the blooming of nature after winter. The spring equinox marks the first day of spring, where day and night are equal length. Ostara is a day of balance and potential, where hopes and dreams from Imbolc become reality.

This Ritual Workshop includes:

  • A talk on the goddess Eostre and the connection between the maiden (emergent feminine) and the Wild Woman.
  • Meditation to connect to the energetics of Eostre.
  • Journaling exercise for self-renewal.
  • Group discussion.

Eostre is the Anglo-Saxon and Germanic goddess of spring, rebirth, and the dawn. She is a spirited and enthusiastic teenager with an eye for mischief and adventure. Though Eostre is a maiden goddess, we can connect with her at any age to remind us to approach life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and goodwill.

The goddess accepts the world and its inhabitants as they are, not how she thinks they should be or their future potential. This trusting attitude enables her to live in the present moment and act spontaneously as situations arise.

We'll be looking to connect with the goddess to keep our enthusiasm and curiosity for life strong.

Hey, Sister! I'm Lisa Marie, and I can't wait to be your guide.

One of the things I’m committed to is honoring transitions through rituals. Rituals allow us to live our lives with intention and connect with the divine. When we take the time to pause, to recognize what’s going on in the world and our own lives, we stop sleepwalking through life, and we become enlivened. That is, we appreciate the wonder, mystery, and awe of the world around us and our place in it.

I hope you’ll join me for this inspiring workshop.

"To be more childlike, you don't have to give up being an adult. The fully integrated person is capable of being both an adult and a child simultaneously. Recapture the childlike feelings of wide-eyed excitement, spontaneous appreciation, cutting loose, and being full of awe and wonder at this magnificent universe." ~ Wayne Dyer
